Traveling During Covid-19

Tips and guides for traveling during Covid-19

  1. Make sure you are allowed to enter your destination country and allowed to transit through all the transit airports along your route. You can refer to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Travel Centre website when planning your travel routes.
  2. Make sure that you have all the necessary documents ready for immigration checks. (e.g. residence permit, special entry pass, proof of kinship, etc) Check with the immigration of respective country for more information.
  3. Make sure that your flight(s) is(are) still confirmed. Check with your airline on flight status before heading to the airport. Due to the current situation, many flights are being cancelled at last minute.

  1. Have extra masks handy. Disposable masks are recommended and more hygienic when flying as you can simply dispose them after using for 4 hours. If you are using cloth mask or reusable mask, you will be carrying the germs with you when you keep the used mask.
  2. Have a hand sanitiser in a easy to reach pocket or easy to access place. It is recommended to sanitise your hands frequently.
  3. Have wet wipes and dry tissue with you. These will come in handy when you need to wipe down tables, handles, and everything else along the way before using.
  4. Stay away from crowds. Even though joining the crowd can be very tempting, keep a 2-meter radius around yourself from other people.
  5. Check your temperature regularly. Have a portable thermometer on you if necessary.

  1. Observe regulations of local government.
  2. Monitor your health. Seek medical attention if unwell.
  3. Have fun and enjoy your trip.

Review of the Guest

I really enjoyed visiting Iceland with a self-driving tour. We had a Kia Rio with an automatic gearbox, which helped us to reach all fascinating spots. The travel plan provided by the tour guide was very useful and helped a lot in planning, and saved us time. I'd recommend taking this tour if you don't like crowds and buses. - Oleksandr Yaremchuk, Ukraine
It was an amazing trip we had in Iceland. Our guide, Snorri, was very knowledgeable and funny. He is a very good driver too, understanding the Icelandic roads and weather very well. - Ann Kwee, Singapore

Very friendly and helpful guide. The travel agent really helped us a lot in planning our trip and gave us very good advise. We managed to see the northern lights 3 out of the 5 nights we were there thanks to the expert knowledge of the local guides. - Amanda King, USA
